25 years for Westwood House Child Contact Centre!

We are proud to have been supporting children and parents at Westwood House Child Contact Centre from 1999 to 2024!

Westwood House Child Contact Centre celebrates 25 years of supporting families this year. A five-year-old girl met with her father on February 27th 1999 as our centre opened its doors for the first time under the guardianship of Denis Hagon and a small team of volunteers.  Many families have attended the centre since that first date. The world of child contact has changed and become more complex in so many ways since.  We hold fond memories of Denis who remains our inspiration. It is his legacy that is at the core of our work with families today.

Latest Update, July 12th 2024:

Attendance is subject to the acceptance of a satisfactory referral and the completion of separate preliminary interviews with parents and children.

There is currently no waiting list and we will be in touch with you as soon as we receive your referral to arrange preliminary interviews.

Please do contact us to discuss your referral.  All new enquiries and referrals are placed immediately on to our waiting list, so your application slot is secure.

Please do contact us if you have any questions.

What is a Child Contact Centre?

It is a neutral meeting place where children of separated families may enjoy contact with one or both parents, and sometimes with other family members, in a comfortable and safe environment when there is not a viable alternative.
